Description
2-(3-Alanyl)clavam is produced by the strain of Streptomyces clavuligerus. It has activity against gram-positive bacteria and yeast, and its activities can be antagonized by D or L methionine, L-cysteine threonine, L-homocysteine and O-acetyl-L-high serine.
