Description

Anhydroepiophiobolin A is an ophiobolin with a broad biological profile. It has antibacterial, antifungal, antitumour, herbicidal and nematocidal activities. It is the major terminal degradation product of ophiobolin A and is co-produced with other ophiobolins in many bipolaris species.
