It is produced by the strain of Streptomyces sp. HPLY-11472 (DSM 2658). It belongs to Rhodimycin group antibiotic. The ED50 of L1210 cell is 0.36 μmol/L (The ED50 of adriamycin in the control group is 0.036 μmol/L).
