Description
Hydroxyakalone is an inhibitor of Xanthosine oxidase (XOD, EC 1.2.3.2) produced by Agrobacterium aurantiacumn N81106. It inhibits XOD with an IC50 of 4.6 μmol/L, which is stronger than acathone (IC50 16.9 μmol/L).
