Melithiazol D is an antibiotic produced by Melittangium lichenicila Mel26, Archangium gephyra Ar 7747 and Myxococcus stipitatus Mx s 64. It is a β-methoxyacrylate (MOA) inhibitor with strong anti-agent activity.
