Description
It is produced by the strain of Str. sp. 833. It is a phenazine Substance that has the protective effect of new neuron cells. It can scavenge free radicals, protect N18-RE 105 nerve cells from glutamate toxicity, and inhibit lipid peroxidation. It inhibits glutamate toxicity in N18-RE-105 cells with EC50 of 0.34 μg/mL.
