Description
U-62162 is an antibiotic isolated from the fermentations of Streptomyces verdensis Dietz, sp. n. (UC-8157). It inhibited the growth of Gram-positive bacteria (particularly Staphylococcus aureus) but was inactive in experimentally infected animals.
