OM-173αA is a quinone bacterial metabolite originally isolated from Streptomyces hebeiensis, displaying antimicrobial activity. It selectively inhibits Dnmt3b and induces antiproliferative effects in different tumor cell lines. It is effective against Gram-positive bacteria, mycobacterium, yeast and fungus.
